10 Moms Killing It On and Off of Social Media

10. Savannah Labrant - @sav.labrant

Savannah grew up modelling and eventually took that passion and confidence to Vine, where she originally became famous, but she now uses TikTok as her main influencing platform. Her and hubby Cole have a super successful YouTube channel where they post videos of their everyday lives. A lot of people don’t realize that Savannah spent some time as a single mom and experienced her own struggles before Cole. She’s always the first to express how her children are her priority and incredibly insightful when interacting with her followers. Both of Savannah’s daughters, 7-year-old Everleigh and 16-month-old Posie are more often than not featured on Savannah’s perfectly curated Instagram page. But guess what… she’s expecting again! But this time it’s a boy!!!

9. Brittany Aldean - @brittanyaldean

Brittany was originally known for being an NBA dancer and a contestant on American Idol before she met and married hubby, Jason Aldean. Her Instagram feed is flawlessly filled with glam and absolute kiddie cuteness with a cool earthy undertone. She was featured on CityLife as an Instagram icon and highlighted how much she truly enjoys building her family brand. Her and the kids will often be on the road with Dad and it’s kind of incredible to watch such a dynamic family grow and to have a peek into that world through the perspective of a mom and wife of a country star.

__________

8. Kylie Jenner - @kyliejenner

This may be a slightly controversial one… I know there are a ton of people who claim that Kylie’s tactic of “hiding” her pregnancy was all for publicity hype, but I like to believe she truly was trying to keep that journey a private one for herself and her family. Either way, good on her! Enter Stormi and even though she’s not necessarily someone we would have expected to make a great mother, but she has once again proved many people wrong. It seems that a lot of people have learned to appreciate Kylie for her business mind as well as the loving mother that she is. She may have come from a very fortunate situation, but she’s only built on that and is continuing to create an empire for her and her family.

__________

7. Erica Shaw - @_ericashaw

There’s something so wholesome about Erica Shaw’s aesthetic on her feed. Between her style interests and her kiddie content – Erica’s profile is nothing short of dreamy. She’s a Canadian-based lifestyle blogger with the cutest little bugs. Her blog features anything and everything you could imagine when it comes to fashion, home décor and her cutie-pie kids.

__________

6. Shay Mitchell - @shaymitchell

Shay first gained traction in her career through modelling and acting (you probably remember her from the tv show Pretty Little Liars). She has since co-authored a young adult novel, launched her own travel brand, and hosts a highly followed lifestyle channel. Before the birth of her baby girl, Atlas, she spoke out about her miscarriage and how difficult of a time that was for her. She’s been nothing but confident as a mother, speaking on the things that not everyone wants to talk about (i.e. destigmatizing breast feeding in public) and being proud of it and her family every step of the way.

5. Chrissy Teigen - @chrissyteigen

Alright so I know Chrissy Teigen takes a lot of heat and it’s a matter of either you love her or hate her. I personally LOVE HER, obviously. She’s real, she’s absolutely hilarious and ridiculously entertaining on all social media platforms. If you are at all active on twitter and you do not follow her, please just go follow her. Also, her cookbooks are to die for. She has me laughing out loud daily. She’s witty in her responses but she also admits when she doesn’t quite get things right. Like I said, whether you love her or hate her, you cannot deny that her, her husband John Legend and their two little ones are family goals.

__________

4. Dr. Lexi Lafleur Brown - @lexilafleur

Lexi has a diploma in Media Communications and Public Relations, an Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts in Media Studies, a Masters degree in Public Relations and most recently, her PhD in Education. As if that resume’s not dope enough, let me remind you that she popped out two tiny tots while pursuing her PhD. She is hilarious on social media, and amazingly outspoken (even when her views may be a little controversial). Day in and day out, she is setting a precedent for all spouses of professional athletes with her own personal accomplishments as well as her presence in the community. Simply put, everyone should be more like Dr. Lexi and you will not be disappointed if you choose to follow along with her and her family on social media.

__________

3. Shawn Johnson East - @shawnjohnson

Shawn’s a retired Olympic gymnast. She’s a newer mama but what I really admire about her is that she’s not afraid to turn to her network when it comes to asking for tips for a new baby, even as an Olympic icon. She's the first to admit when she’s unsure how to navigate newer waters. Shawn’s present in terms of social media but you can tell she leads a private life devoted to her family, including hubby, baby and pup. In addition to their famjam being super cute, her and hubby have been crushing it with entertaining content throughout quarantine – love watching this mama, keep it coming!

__________

2. Jessie James Decker - @jessiejamesdecker

Jessie James was originally famous for her musical talents as a singer and songwriter. She has since established herself as the founder/CEO of her own clothing line, as a successful NY Times best-selling author and of course, as a mom! She’s genuine, charismatic and just downright funny – the love and quirkiness that flows through that family is so pure so following along with them is nothing short of entertaining and enlightening. Her posts are often a kind reminder that we’re all human regardless of status or situation.

__________

1. Andrea Hannemann - @earthyandy

Speaking of wholesome, Andrea Hannemann, her husband, and their three little boys are a Hawaii-based family that go above and beyond in the department of long-term quality of life. She’s an easy number one on this list since her lifestyle lines up so well with our brand. She is a lifestyle blogger who bases her intentions around developing a sustainable, healthy lifestyle that encourages healthy living choices in all aspects of life, (i.e. living, eats and travel, as advertised on her blog). She provides some killer vegan and gluten-free alternatives on her recipe blog, which I’ve tried and highly recommend. Her photos aren’t always “perfect” but that’s kind of what makes her family so perfect anyways.

__________

There are so many mama’s thriving on social media right now so it was difficult to grab the first couple handfuls that I could think of. Whether it’s your own mom, a friend who is a mom, the mother of your children, a grandmother, a mother figure – anyone… let them know how much they’re appreciated. Give your moms some extra lovin’ today, whether you’re missing a mom while social distancing or about to fight her because you’re quarantined together. Happy Mother’s Day my dudes!
