Malibu Sunrise Recipe

In honour of National Cocktail Day (yes it really is a thing) we have an awesome summer bev recipe for you. So we’ve all tried a tequila sunrise (or a few too many tequila sunrises) but have you ever had a Malibu Sunset? This fruity drink is complete with our favourite coconut-flavoured rum. This is a quick and easy recipe that you and your crew will love.

What You’ll Need

• Pineapple juice
• Orange juice
• Malibu
• Grenadine

Start by placing a few ice cubes in a tall glass. Then pour in your desired amount of pineapple juice and orange juice.

Next, add in your Malibu rum and yeah, go ahead and make it a double.

Now stir all the ingredients together until it's well combined.

Once the drink is mixed, slowly pour grenadine down the side of the glass. Make sure not to stir or disturb the drink. You want the grenadine to sit at the bottom of the drink to create the sunset effect.

If you’re feeling frisky (and we know you are) you can add a slice of orange or some cherries to the glass for some garnish.
