Lockdown Lifted

We discuss the recent lockdown being lifted and what we’ve been up to since then. From patios to girls nights, and Sunday Funday booze cruises, we have been taking “shot-girl summer” very seriously.

We talk about getting those second doses and why we stepped up to pull up our sleeves. 

Almost Adulting

We discuss the dreaded “post-pandemic bod.” There is so much pressure on people to come out of this pandemic as a new person and we think that’s total bs. This past year has been insane and most of us have just been trying to keep our heads above water. We think there’s actually not as much pressure as we are putting on ourselves. From our own experiences with friends, since the lockdown was lifted, everyone is just so happy to be out again. No one is thinking about silly things like appearances as much as you think they are. And hey if they are, then they’re not worth your time and it’s pretty easy to hit the unfollow button. 

Locker Room Talk

In this segment, we talk about getting drunk DM’s and whether we answer them or not. We both agreed that a simple emoji is a top-notch reply. This way the person isn’t left embarrassed but you’re also keeping things chill and playful. Sam suggested sending the side-eye emoji or the thinking emoji. The options are endless, really. Play it as you please.

Booze Bracket

This might just be our favourite segment. In this episode, we rate the insanely popular Bud Lite Seltzers. We tried out the Black Cherry, Strawberry and Mango and loved all 3 drinks (maybe a little too much). From best to worst, Sam rated them: Strawberry, Black Cherry then Mango while Kathleen had Mango first, then Black Cherry and Strawberry in third. We were feeling good after this segment for sure.
